We're for local communities

“Paul is for local communities, and wants to see them healthy and thriving.”

Being a South Coast local, and the former Shoalhaven mayor, I have worked hard and have been delighted with what we have been able to achieve for the South Coast of NSW.

During my time in Parliament, the CDP has helped secured the upgrade to the Princes Highway, including the Berry bypass completed. Now we are planning the third river crossing for the Shoalhaven River. All this work seeks to get residents home quicker and safer so they can be with their families.

I also invited the Minister for Health to a roundtable with representatives of the Shoalhaven District Memorial Hospital. Their strong advocacy has led to the announcement of a $403 million to redevelop the Hospital. This is a huge win for all residents of the Shoalhaven.

I am proud to have been able to fight for the issues affecting my local community and believe the redevelopment of the Hospital will improve the health and wellbeing of the community on the South Coast of NSW. It will allow patients to be closer to their families while receiving treatment, reducing the need to travel long distances.

Strong local communities matter and make NSW stronger, and I will continue to fight for the needs of local communities in NSW.
