On Thursday 24th May, Rev. Hon. Fred Nile MLC introduced the Anti-Discrimination Amendment (Religious Freedoms) Bill.

We believe that our right to religious freedom deserves to be protected in New South Wales. Ministers; churches; schools; charities; faith-based organisations such as aged-care facilities; and chaplains must be able to continue living out their faith and belief in the public sphere.

TO THE HONOURABLE THE PRESIDENT AND MEMBERS OF THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF NEW SOUTH WALES
The Petition of certain citizens of New South Wales, state that we support the introduction of legislation to protect our right to religious belief. We ask that our right to religious belief and the opportunity to participate in religious activities as individuals or organisations, be protected.
Your petitioners request that the House will support the introduction and passage of the
Anti-Discrimination Amendment (Religious Freedoms) Bill.
